GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations)

The GDPR come into force on the 25th May 2018. They are the new regulations for Data Protection for EU citizens that all businesses must comply with, big and small. Data Protection & Privacy Policies must be created and publicly available on your website where you collect user data or if you use other services on your website such as analytics, advertising, contact forms or bookings, social media plugins or Google Maps or Youtube videos to name just a few. You must also have an internal privacy policy for data protection outside of your website. Your policies must be adhered to and must be kept up to date with any new services you offer or use. Non-compliance can result in substantial fines for your business.
